This pretty Wareham bungalow backing onto the river plain with gorgeous views across the meadows had a large conservatory on the back which was cold in the winter and like an oven in the summer.
It had no footings and had to be completely taken down, the entire structure was useless for the refurbishment with its new extension on the conservatory footprint. A large extension to the loft over with a new sun terrace balcony greatly enhanced the main bedroom.
The original kitchen was also deleted and a major new space was created.
With underfloor heating throughoutand new hot water services to repalce the reliance on a combi boiler we also installed a wet room shower to the ensuite.
The utility room was also demolished and rebuilt.
Previous extensions in the 1980s concealed some truly shocking bodges in the original loft extension which also had to be rectified.
The fabulous end result is a really pleasant space to be in.
